Jordan Brown
Vice President of SIPI
About
"As the new Vice President at SIPI, Jordan prides herself on being a connector of dots and a herder of cats, with the ability to find solutions before problems arise. Jordan Brown strives to turn ideas into action, sometimes in unconventional ways. Like Jordan’s heart, her philanthropic background resides in Flint. Getting to work with dozens of Flint nonprofits is a perfect fit for her experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement and project management. Helping steer SIPI’s programs in Flint came about after a career of related work. Jordan earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University in Health Communications and Nonprofit Administration, and a Master of Business Administration from UM-Flint. Years of public relations and sales followed, teaching her the value of building meaningful relationships, creative development strategies, and innovative ways of giving. These all come together in a powerful mix that helps partner organizations reach their own goals. As a lifelong equestrian she finds value in the longshot and in those who are about to hit their stride, and she has the tenacity to bring the seemingly impossible to fruition. To Jordan, big ideas backed by passion are not a stretch, but a welcome challenge; she aims to help you build the unstoppable together. "
