"I love volunteering – I have helped the DECA students at GCI in the past for many years preparing them for competition. I have also worked with Alternative High School at Swartz Creek preparing them for job interviews and life skills. I love my job as the General Manager / Marketing Director at 1-800 Water Damage of Mid Michigan where I have worked for 12+ years helping the owner run the day-to-day operations. My passion is working with young people. Here are some positions I've held over my career: - 2005-2017 Administrator and event planner for the SCACC (Swartz Creek Area Chamber of Commerce) I also helped new business in the area with resources they needed to succeed - WFBA – Board member – Scholarship Chair (West Flint Business Association) - KLeighPromotions/Car Show Innovations 1999-2018 Owner - I planned and executed many events, most for small charities. Included Marketing, Planning, Advertising, Getting sponsors hiring vendors for each event - Women's Council of Realtors – I was a very active member for 7 years. I had many positions on the board through my time there. - East Central Association of Realtors – Board member, I also chair the Special Projects Committee."
